- Fluent in German and English.
- Over 3 years of experience as a Red Hat administrator/engineer.
- Knowledge of Linux system administration, including system installations, configurations and performance optimization.
- Experience in automation and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, KVM).
- Basic knowledge of Windows server administration.
Your tasks
- Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform system installations, configurations and updates for Red Hat systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to ensure system stability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies on Red Hat systems.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python).
- Assist in the administration of Windows servers and systems, including tasks such as patch management, user administration and system monitoring.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and end users.
